hello lovely readers...
so, it is no secret that i love to buy darling things. handmade goods. vintage treasures. flowers. lace. ribbon. fabric. pottery i have brought back from Europe. things that remind me of Europe. i also love flea markets & yard sales...the joy of bringing home a sweet little find.
i love to imagine a found item's potential - where could it go in our house? in my floral studio? or what if i repurposed it, gave it a fresh coat of paint with a set of darling knobs? how about the excitement of giving a beautiful handcrafted gift to a friend?
this year, we decided to take this love of vintage & handmade local goods and bring it to you...in the form of a pop-up shop!!
A Day in Provence will be hosting vintage pop-up shops throughout certain 2-3 day weekends this year in our new NE Minneapolis studio in the heart of the arts district (all happening in between my lovely flower weddings)!
and, we are bringing a little bit more of our love for Europe to you in the name...
pop-up shop. more of a chic & stylish British term. they have been trendy in the UK for quite some time & have made their way over to the US & are resonating well with shoppers locally.
in this industry, i have been lucky to collaborate with many creative artists. the energy is wholesome & fulfilling & encouraging. i have been inspired by other shop owners locally & throughout my travels over the years - and wanted to bring something closer to home.
we will bring you items that we love to shop for...featuring one-of-a-kind repurposed vintage goods, painted furniture, darling found items & handmade items by local artisans. our concept will bring you a fresh new look each time to keep it exciting and to keep the anticipation level high - wondering what fun the next one will bring! we all love the thrill of finding a deal or a piece we just can't live without!

that...makes me happy. it is things like this that make the world go round.
