"Amélie" Inspired Wedding

i came across this yesterday...a wedding shoot inspired by the french movie Amélie.  i am in love...

if you have not seen the playful movie of a shy Parisian waitress who decides to change the lives of those around her for the better, check it out!  portrayed by the lovely Audrey Tautou,  Amélie's quirky, yet sweet character will capture your heart as will the neighborhood of Montmartre.

look how they brought the movie Amélie to life...in flowers, and of course, food!

Summer Wedding: Kirsten & Tyler

following this weekend's wedding fair at Semple Mansion, i thought i would highlight a favorite wedding held there in July.  another darling bride.  Kirsten looked stunning!

color palette for the day coordinated well with the gold, french blue & crimson red colors in the Semple Mansion.

and a beautiful wedding party, and gorgeous mocha colored bridesmaid dresses!

Kirsten's bouquet was designed with ivory dahlias, white hydrangea, bridal blush protea, champagne spray roses, chocolate cosmos & fern shoots.

Semple Mansion Wedding Fair This Sunday!

come see us this weekend at the Semple Mansion Wedding Fair - Sunday, March 13th from 11am-4pm.  if you have never seen this breathtaking venue before, come check it out! 

brides to be...there will be some lovely vendors to visit with in the following areas:  photography, floral design, bakeries, wedding gowns, stationery & more!  also, there will be two fashion shows...one at 12:30pm and one at 2pm.  free admission & free parking!

Summer Wedding: Allison & Jared

another lovely summer wedding to share with you today!  Allison & Jared enjoyed a beautiful sunny wedding day outdoors at Weddings of Wayzata (now known as The Woods Chapel).  this June wedding ceremony was followed by a lovely reception at the Lafayette Club on Lake Minnetonka.

the colors of this wedding still make me smile.  aqua & chartreuse...fresh, crisp & summery!
